Set on a 10 acre block, this house gets all the sun from mid morning until the stunning sunsets that can be seen from almost every room in the property.
For those decerning piano players, this house has a Fazioli Concert Grand piano. The Fazioli is in an accoustically designed music room which has built-in baffles, perforated ceiling and even an inside curved wall. Sitting at the piano there are vistas back to Auckland city over the Hauraki Gulf through the eye level windows.
Come play till your hearts content or come over and write some music in the peaceful surrounds of this architecturally-designed-award-finalist home.
Facilities
4 Bedrooms:
Master bedroom with King bed and ensuite with shower and toilet.
3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 Queen beds and a single.
Kitchen:
Modern kitchen with DW/microwave/gas hob/gas oven/coffee machine/fridge and freezer. Cook up a storm with views back towards Auckland and while still being involved in the open planned living and lounge.
Large dining area with table and chairs for a seating of 8 people.
Lounge:
Flowing in from the dining room, the lounge has a 30" SKY TV/DVD/Video/stereo/radio/IPODreceiptor/wireless internet. To warm this space up in the winter is a wood fire and underfloor heating.
All these rooms over look the Hauraki Gulf back to Auckland and the setting sun.
The Music Room:
is off the lounge.
Acoustic engineers designed the listening capacity in this room that
is home to a unique piano called Fazioli Concert Grand. This Italian
instrument was individually handcrafted—only about 80 pianos a year
are made. The quality of the Fazioli is legendary. There is a “state-of-the art” music system with a wide variety of CDs
on the hard drive and the capacity to plug in your I-Pod. Music is
heard on the magnificent Shahinian speakers.
If the renter
wishes to play this piano during their stay there is a piano deposit
of $400.00 required. Otherwise the piano will be locked and covered.
This room is not available for children.
Upstairs:
3 bedrooms and a 2nd lounge with 20" flat screen and again another IPOD receiptor, wireless internet and a 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet.
Separate laundry:
With washer and dryer and separate toilet.
Entertainment centres:
There is a large screen TV for the living/lounge area that swivels to
the kitchen/dining area by remote control.
The master bedroom and
second floor each have a TV.
There is Wi-fi throughout the house.
There is DVD, CD, radio and cable TV available on the custom designed
system.
Speakers are mounted on the verandah.
Outdoors:
An entertainers dream, with either the west or eastern patios available.
Outdoor speakers to enjoy your music with shelter from the rain on the eastern side.
Not far from the house is an outside bath, set amongst the foliage and commanding the romantic sunset.This large bathtub is situated near the bush on a wooden platform
for viewing the stars as well as the lights of Auckland in the
distance—all while sipping local wines.
Min 2 night bookings in the winter and 3 night bookings over long weekends.
Min 7 night bookings over the summer.

Cancellation Policy
If your booking is cancelled within 1 week prior to booking date a 100% cancellation fee applies. If your booking is cancelled 1 week to 1 month prior to booking date a 30% cancellation fee applies.
